I am scheduled to leave for India this Saturday, but can't head on over to the Indian consulate in Chicago to pick up my visa until the Indian Government sends me a confirmation letter approving my project. I am expecting to receive this confirmation Wednesday at the latest, but who knows... Meanwhile, I've begun packing and tying up loose ends. Kaleem left for Japan where he'll be studying at a high school in Maebashi for one year. So Mom, Dad, Yasi and Tarik will soon be left alone... I'm sure they'll keep themselves quite busy. Hopefully they will all visit me in Delhi during winter break. I guess they'll have to apply for passports soon!
